Need to set proxy for the Access point

Hi
I need to know if there is any way I can set proxy for the Access Point (apart from the mandatory ssid and password) to which I want my ESP8266 module to connect in station mode running Nodemcu firmware.

This doesn't make sense to me...how should your device be able to connect to a proxy if isn't connected to a WiFi access point in the first place?

I think I was not clear with the question. For the connection that ESP8266 module has made with the Access Point I need to set LAN's proxy server address and port for connecting to internet just like, if needed, it is set it in Windows/Linux for the wireless or wired connections.

Oh, that makes a lot more sense... I'm not aware of any proxy config you could set.
