Hi, I am unable to get the LUA esplorer connect with my ESP 8266 NodeMCU ver0.9 (V1) . I flashed to NODEMCU with this firmware: https://github.com/nodemcu/nodemcu-flasher WIN64/RELEASE. The flasheo was ok, but Esplorer LUA but esplorer lua says : "Communication with MCU..." but not connect. I tried on several bauds.

The Windows flasher ships with a very old and buggy firmware embedded, don't use it.

Build a recent firmware: http://nodemcu.readthedocs.io/en/latest/en/build/
Flash it according to the upgrading instructions: http://nodemcu.readthedocs.io/en/latest ... g-firmware

Try this:

1. Make sure the right COM port is chosen in Esplorer,
2. Push Open button, to open the port,
3. Press RTS button to activate the RTS signal (= reset pin), wait half a second and press it again to deactivate it.

Have the same problem....unfortunately this doesnt work.
