- Tue Jul 28, 2015 1:18 am #24443 I added a flag to http://frightanic.com/nodemcu-custom-build/ which allows you to build a firmware with debug ON. When I hook up the ESP with such a firmware to ESPlorer it reports "no devolo-000B3BD4DEEE found" after startup once per second. On Google I don't get a single hit for this.
Any ideas?

I'm using the latest ESPlorer version and non-debug firmware builds don't show this.

- Mon Aug 10, 2015 4:12 pm #25582 Grrr, silly me. 'devolo-000B3BD4DEEE' is the SSID of a temporary network that particular esp was last connected to before I flashed it with the debug firmware. Since it is in debug mode it reports that it tries to (re-)connect to that last known network in 1 second intervals.
What I don't understand is why that WiFi configuration survives a firmware flash. I'd expect it's flashed/flushed as well.
