need help please. After updating the firmware version of my esp module using nodemcu flasher with a firmware version of nodemcu_integer_0.9.6-dev_20150704, then i've connected my esp's tx to arduino' rx, esp's rx to arduino's tx port then connected my esp's gnd and vcc to my ftdi to usb module. After that i've uploaded a blank code to my arduino uno and opened up the serial monitor. When I typed AT then enter, I get this error > AT+GMR stdin:1: '=' expected near '+'. What seems to be problem here? Thanks guys.

A lot of the firmwares dont have the AT facility. Ar you sure you have not donloded a firmware with AT commands? Like this: http://www.electrodragon.com/w/ESP8266_ ... d_firmware now I dont know if this is the newest.
