Any plans to add software uart to Nodemcu or is there one already and I just can't find it?

It's an IoT device really. Why do you want a (second) software uart? IMO, this is he wrong sort of device if you want to server multiple uarts.

I want to connect a GPS, parse the NEMA strings, and use the standard uart for debug.
