#3344 Ughh I;m calling a file from the lua.init that is causing this error
"> PANIC: unprotected error in call to Lua API (test2.lua:1: '=' expected near '~')
PANIC: unprotected error in call to Lua API (attempt to call a string value)

How do I recover from this the ESP8266 crashes on init?

#3346 Maybe you should post some of the code for Zeroday and others to see.

#3352 I made a mistake in the file init.lua was calling. I reflashed to recover. I plan to increase the time before the file is called from init.lua to give me a chance to fix it before it crashes! Still amazed at the function available in such a small size!

#3353 I guess that could be an issue if the code in init.lua is bad :-) good have almost a bricked device, maybe another pin taken to ground a powerup is a delete the file indicator, if turned on..... :)
