board manager file package_esp8266com_index.json is down

It seems users cannot access the board manager file at
http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/packa ... index.jsonCurrently users cannot install the board related files through Arduino board manager.
Using git clone and get.py to install also doesn't work since the xtensa sdk is also stored at arduino.esp8266.com.

Yes, I discovered the download service wasn't working yesterday afternoon after spending a couple of hours trying to figure out what was wrong. Thankfully it was working well about 10:30 pm UK time last night.
Anyway many thanks to Richard and no doubt others for sorting it.
I have another question, does esp8266/Arduino now work fully and properly with IDE version 1.6.7?
