Upgrading Arduino Board definitions to Version 2.1 issues
Posted: Mon Mar 28, 2016 10:49 amI just updated the board drivers in Arduino from version 2.0.0 to 2.1.0 and now all I have is Sparkfun boards and Generic ESP8266. the Adafruit HUZZAH and others are now missing? If I downgrade the driver to 2.0.0 then the other boards come back. The weird part about this is the 2.1.0 driver adds the Sparkfun Blynk on win7. On my mac all the board files are there with the 2.1.0 board file except the Sparkfun Blynk. Maybe Sparkfun broke the driver when they added the Blynk board?
I deleted and reinstalled Arduino on both the Win7 computer and my Mac computer and they both act out of sync even after a clean install. Sorry it's a hard problem to explain.
