I have some ESP-01s and they were all working fine until after I updated the board manager to yesterday's version. Now when a virtual AP is created, the 192.168.4.1 returns no webpage and times out. (100% sure its the right ip, I scanned the network to make sure)

When I go to my other computer with the few days old version of the Arduino ESP plugin, the same code, making a softAP, and visiting the website at 192.168.4.1 works fine...............

- Wed Jul 29, 2015 11:52 am #24556 I've run into the very same problem. Does anyone know a simple way to use the previous board manager? It is not obvious how I can step back to the version prior to July 23.

- Sun Aug 02, 2015 4:24 pm #24849 Yeah....IDK how. I just got an old laptop to program with that had the old boards manager on it. The Boards manager doesn't seem to be stored in the arduino folder which is strange....

C:\Users\<Your Userid>\AppData\Roaming\Arduino15\packages
