Hi all,
I have used dozens of D1 modules, both genuine Wemos (Lolin) and clones. Never had issues with any of them.
I now have two batches of 10 clones from different vendors (on Aliexpress) where wifi does not work. I have tested all 10 in batch one and 1 in the other.
Running example wifiscan gives a nice set of networks on the Lolin, none on the clone.
Running example WIFIAccessPoint gives the promised network on the Lonlin, not so on the clone. I have sent complaints to the vendor. Here are the photos.

I have tried a lot, including reinstalling Espressif core, installing Tasmota through Tasmonizer.
Installing large elco between 5v and gnd.
Swapping out cap between esp and antenna
Done extensive search online.
obviously all without success.
Any idea what could be the issue?
