Hi,

I've tested the "httpUpdate" example. After a dozen successful updates, the ESP-01 failed to boot. I was really surprised to find that it was kind of "bricked". Had to use the espressif flash download tool to get it working again.
I was wondering how likely it is, that this happens and if there is a method to prevent it? Any experiences in this regard?

I am doing this myself and find that some files flash and some do not....

Sorry for the very late reply. :oops:

Unfortunately, e-mail notifications still don't reach me and I have no idea why :-(

In regards to the topic, I've no solution yet. I didn't role out much automatic OTA lately but the problem persists. I already tried different capacitors and different voltage regulator but no luck.

Any new insights?
