Dear people ,


So couple of days ago i recieved my ESP-07 modules, cause i wanted to play with the external antenna's boost some range, however,
using the AP example in the IDE the ESP-07 does not setup a AP, The same code does work on the ESP-12 ,

Any suggestions,
All pins are connected correctly

Hi agian,

So apparently my laptop is not seeing the WiFi, My phone does,
however when im trying to connect it gets stuck at the retrieving IP address when connecting to a password protected AP but it isnt when i place it to open connection. The pasword is "123456789" so more then the required 8

There is no difference between ESP-07 and ESP-12, they are using the same ESP8266 chip, therefore the same sketch should work on both.
Erase the whole flash to make sure any previous configs are gone.
Check your wiring again.

I indeed flashed the ESP, it seems to be better now,
although the connection is faster at the ESP-12 side,
Also when i hook up the antenna, it influences the connection capabilities i found out
that when i'm further away i can connect more easily
