ESP8266 Community Forum

Hi, I am new to the forum so sorry if this post is not in the correct section.

I am having a problem where I cant flash my esp from arduino IDE.

This problem only occurs on my personal laptop. I have tried couple other PCs and they managed to flash esp without any problems. When flashing from my laptop, flashing process starts and then stops at random moments. I have tried all 3 USB ports on my laptop, and one eSATA/USB port.

To better represent this situation I am going to upload a screenshot of one of many failed uploads. Please note that that the place where flashing stops is not the same every time.

I have used same drivers and tools on my laptop on other PCs.

I managed to find the solution. This is what was needed to be done:

1. Go to control panel
2. Uninstall a program
3. Search for cp210x
4. Uninstall the first program that comes up

If needed instal the newest driver for cp210x manualy from device manager

After uninstalling I have managed to flash my ESP6288
