- Thu Aug 24, 2017 9:10 am #69432 I now going to carry out a project with esp8266 module 1 and arduino Uno
to measure rssi received by the smartphone. I am confuse about the wiring
between esp 8266 module 01 and arduino.
I found there is source of wiring diagram
Esp8266. Arduino
Vcc. 3.3V
GND. GND
EN. 3.3V
TX. RX
RX. TX
But I failed to get rssi.
There is not compilation error but warning of
Espcomm_sync failed and error of espcomm_open fail , espcomm_upload fail.

Wish some body can give me a guideline.

Why did you swap RX and TX? Why didn't you connect a pull-up + switch to reset and GPIO0?

Did you read the instructions I referred to many times?
