ESP8266 AP WiFi Pop-up(Splash page) message upon connection.

So I am quite new to esp and I have esp8266 generic module esp-01. I want to see if it is able to make a pop-up message for the user for whenever user tries to connect to the esp WiFi when it is running as Access point mode, the pop-up gets displayed of a root page so user doesn't require to go separately to browser to access the root page. I couldn't find any information regarding this thus I decided to post here, I have no idea on how to get started regarding this thing any help is appreciated!
Edit: nevermind it's appareantly called captive portal and it works for android.
