#14815 I am using ESP03 because it's the smallest ESP8266 module with antenna I could find.

I am having problems using it's reset pin, driving it from a host MCU. Based on the schematic here I connected a jumper at R2 but the XPD_DCDC (GPIO18) pin acts as an output at level high which makes it impossible to pull it down. I also tried to pull it down with a 1K resistor but the reset input still stays high.

The diagram shows a small 'X' on the XPD_DCDC but I couldn't find a place where the trace can be disconnected.

Any idea how to use make the RESET pin usable?

I also tried the ESP01 and the RESET pin works out of the box, but the module is slightly larger than the ESP03.

#15158 I think Zapta means where to cut the GPIO16 "X", I don't think it is doable.
But the goal is to have access to EXT_RSTB by closing R2_NC like Mikewen mentionned, so here is the picture I've sent months ago ...
