json link references to the latest SDK?

Hi,
I suppose everything is updated but I better ask to be on the safe side.
In the Arduino preferences I set http://arduino.esp8266.com/package_esp8 ... index.json under Additional Board Manager to be able to compile the ESP code.
I set up Arduino a while ago. The SDK at that time was one of the older ones. My question is; does this mean we always compile the sketch with the latest Espressif SDK version, or do I have to change this link with a new SDK published?
The SDK has been updated on 3. July 15 to version 1.2.0 so igrr probably updated the above json link to take into account the latest SDK and I don't have to change anything. Is this correct?

Regards,
Mat

See the screenshot attached .
I notice mine has not updated since June so perhaps the system is not working properly or Igrr has not made a July update yet .
The GitHub/ESP/Arduino site is updated daily but I thing he only updates the json side of things on chosen dates so in effect we are behind.

Hi tytower,
I'm sorry but I don't know what to look for at your picture. Under Additional board manager you have something complely different or perhaps you have multiple entries and the igrr's link is not seen?
If the system were to be updated automatically it would probably be done in this online file. Unfortunatelly I can't find a reference to SDK version so I'm unaware which version of SDK is currently beeing used by my system.
By looking at C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name here"\Application Data\Arduino15\packages\esp8266\hardware\esp8266\1.6.4-673-g8cd3697\libraries\ESP8266WiFi\library.properties file there is:
name=ESP8266WiFi
version=1.0
author=Ivan Grokhotkov

But this is igrr's reference version and not the version of SDK beeing used right?
All the source files seem to be written/rewritten by igrr as well.
Where are the Espressif SDK files?

Regards,
Mat

The SDK version can be seen in your tree at "\Application Data\Arduino15\packages\esp8266\hardware\esp8266\1.6.4-673-g8cd3697\tools\sdk\version"
