json link references to the latest SDK?

Hi,
I suppose everything is updated but I better ask to be on the safe side.
In the Arduino preferences I set http://arduino.esp8266.com/package_esp8 ... index.json under Additional Board Manager to be able to compile the ESP code.
I set up Arduino a while ago. The SDK at that time was one of the older ones. My question is; does this mean we always compile the sketch with the latest Espressif SDK version, or do I have to change this link with a new SDK published?
The SDK has been updated on 3. July 15 to version 1.2.0 so igrr probably updated the above json link to take into account the latest SDK and I don't have to change anything. Is this correct?
Regards,
Mat
