ESP8266 Community Forum

Hi Forum,

I´ve had problems with my ESP8266 recently. It was working good, I used to upload sketches until I decided to try use the running mode for some days. Later, after my tests were completed, I wanted to upload the sketch again and.. PROBLEMS..

I can´t upload the sketch properly, I´ve reviewed wiring a lot of times and it seems it´s ok. When I try to upload, I can see the blue led blinking, but slower than when I uploaded days ago.

What do you suggest? Any firmware problem?

What is the symptom you get when you try and upload? What messages (if any) are produced? What changed from when you uploaded it last? Do you have a schematic diagram of your wiring? Maybe a photo would help too.

Wiring is as the upload method says...

Arduino Ide returns esp com open failed or something like that... But the blue led is blinking, although it is slowly.

Maybe broken? What are the symptoms when an ESP8266 has been broken?
