ESP8266 does not answer AT commands some times

Hello,
i have a esp8266 module connected to a Arduino uno with the reset connected to the ground (so it works as a usb to uart converter). When i connect everything (with external powersupply) i can send AT-commands and the module answers. I can change baudrate and everything.
Buth when i pull the ESP out of my breadboard and plug it back in, it does not do anything anymore... I can send AT-commands buth i don't receive a answer.
Sometimes after a few days and i try again and it works again, until i disconnect it and try again...
Can someone tell me wath the problem is, or how i can fix it?
best regards
