Huzzah both LEDs (red and blue) constant flashing

Hello, had a search but can't find an answer - I have a project which uses an Adafruit Huzzah (with ESP8266) to take wifi > RS232 using a MAX232 chip on the tx/rx serial port. This all works fine but sometimes I can't get the chip to boot - I just get the two on board LEDs flashing very fast.

Does this flashing mean anything specific? I am wondering if it's a power issue or something?

Any advice much appreciated.

Richard

I am actually experiencing the exact same issue with multiple ESP8266 Huzzah boards. How are you powering the board? I am using a 12 volt power supply, and the issue seems to only occur when the board is powered off of it.

Hello

Interesting - I'm also powering from 12v so was wondering if it's due to the step down circuit overheating - I'm going to try getting the voltage down before it reaches the board somehow!

Thanks

Richard
