State of GPIOs when in Deep Sleep

I've been working more and more with Deep Sleep, and that part is working fine. But I have an LED connected to GPIO 2, with a limiting resistor (4.7k) to ground. I noticed that even though I set the pin to "low" prior to going into Deep Sleep, the pin does not float, or stay at ground! I'm seeing a slight voltage, and the LED slightly glows ... and so I'm burning some battery I don't want to be.
Anyone have any ideas if this is a GPIO 2 issue? Or for any GPIO?
