ESPhttpUpdate.update() uses huge amount of memory

ESPhttpUpdate.update() uses a ridiculous amount of memory.
system_get_free_heap_size = 33224 without
system_get_free_heap_size = 25440 with that line added
Surely theres something not quite right there ?
