Powering ESP-01 without UART

I have a esp-01 with sketch uploaded using UART programmer. My sketch is booting up and working well when it is on UART adapter. Now, how would i make the esp-01 to work without using UART adapter i,e i want to just connect to power supply without UART adapter and want the esp-01 to work with my sketch. Is it enough if i connect VCC to +3.3V and GND to GND of power source to make esp-01 work?
I am not finding any link to just power up esp-01, all tutorials i am seeing is for making connection to flash and getting esp-01 to programming mode.
Please suggest.
