I tried to use long range ESP-07 (http://instantpanel.com/product/esp8266 ... module-222). I am able to flash blank and firmware both but, it does not show up the default esp ssid in the wifi list to get connected. Let me know if there is anything special needs to be done.
It works fine with Arduino.

What is the serial output from the module @ 9600 baud when you reset it.

It should go threw a boot sequence any may be connecting to a wifi network it previously connected to.
