Running processor at 160MHz.

There's quite a bit of talk elsewhere about running the processor at 160MHz instead of the default 80MHz. Is this any sort of a possibility with ESP8266Basic, or would it mean re-writing too many other commands to be practicable?

Instant wish forfuilment mode activated.
The basic interpreter builds have been done for the 160 mhz mode for quite some time now.

Is there a command to switch speed or does it need to be done outside of ESPBasic?
