Specify an alternative AP ip address ?

Another 'rainy day' idea...

Would it be feasible to provide facility in the Settings window for specifying an alternative AP ip address, to make it possible for multiple ESP_Basic AP nodes to co-exist?

Might this also offer multiple 'dev' AP nodes able to interact if required on the same isolated subnet without need of a wifi router?

eg: multiple 192.168.4.nnn AP nodes with different (nnn) addresses on the same 192.68.4 subnet, or on subnet 111.111.111 for that matter.

B.T.W. there is a minor 'brocast' typo (broadcast) in the AP section of the SETTINGS page (Alpha15).

I have suggested this some time ago... Dunno if it was ever figured out or even possible.
Some things to note on this one.
A person could have more than one wifi card in their PC and have multiple connections to more than one ESP this could cause an issue if doing something like a routine that is available on both while connected to both in AP mode tada conflict.
For the most part I get the lack of need as most will only connect to 1 device at a time.

I also have suggested the allowance to change the device id... So when it shows up in my router I don't see ESP3ACF5 instead I could change the device id to something like DimmerLivRm so I know what each device does.

This way when I pull out my phone and run fing it will allow me to see the devices rather easily as well on my network and adjust accordingly if there have been any IP changes.
