I share an example for syslog monitoring
in ESPBASIC ....
let IPdebug = "192.168.88.20"
udpwrite IPdebug, 514, "<61>" & " Inicio "

in Raspbian / Ubuntu or other Linux ...
enable remote access (http://www.rsyslog.com/receiving-messag ... te-system/)
and I use the entry "news.notice" (7 * 8 + 5)

Result in /var/log/news/news.notice:
Jun 5 18:09:17 ESP Inicio
