My Bitdefender virus software detected:

The page you are trying to access contains Trojan.GenericKD.3607177. (v3 software)

Very strange as I have downloaded many versions in the past with no issues?

I have had no problems with my virus scanner. I use avast.

I submitted the download link to virus total. A site that uses many different antivirus scanners.

It seems that there is a false positive with bit defender. This might have to do with the fact that when you run the extricable it extracts the esptool.exe file and the bin files for the build in to the same folder upon execution. This might be what is detected and giving the false positive.

If you have a concern about the download you can get the raw bin files and use the node mcu flasher or any other flasher tool for the esp8266. The raw bin files are available from the git hub site from the following link.

I was quite sure it was a false hit.
I have downloaded your software in the past and had no issues.
It just seemed odd why it picked it up now.
