ESP8266 Community Forum

I have a script running on the ESP,the module is not connected to a router and is in AP mode, through the PCs WIfi I can connect to 192.168.4.1
When I try to use the android phone, the wifi connects to the module, but the browser say page not available.
Can anyone help with this. Is there anothe IP I have to connect to, to access the apllication?

Are you sure the phone is not disconnecting from the wifi when it detects in can not reach the internet?

Have you tested with a different phone?

You must connect to the modules wifi for instance you cannot be on your wifi on the router and expect to communicate with it so the esp should have an ssid of ESPxxxxxxxxx or whatever you set it as and the password.

Would be cool to see a video of your error to know exactly how things are happening.
