would your develop a flashing tool for Mac-Linux machines too ??

unfortunately I do not have a flasher for these machines at this time. You can compile with the arduino environment from source.

In order to do so you must use the latest staging version of the arduino environment.

Still looking at making a simple tool to flash on linux but has not been at the top of the list.

Quick question:
Just flashed Basic into my esp8266.
Next I need to connect to it as an access point, correct? It's not showing on my available wifi networks...

Any pointers?

Red Led is on all the time. No Blue.

Nothing on Serial either.
