Hello,

I have been waiting for a bunch of stuff from ebay, banggood and aliexpress to play with. Plan on adding built in commands and functions for some of this new hardware and demos for other items. The support and donations people have been sending are going to a good use and hopefully there will be some progress here soon. I cant thank you guys enough for being so awesome.

I could use some help though. Looking at revamping the documentation and would like to put the call out for some proof reading. If you have seen any of my forum posts you can tell I am not the best with spelling and grammar. That paired with the amount of haste that has gone in to adding new commands has made it difficult to really get the docs 100% correct.

If you see any spelling, grammar or just plain wrong documentation please create a thread over on the bugs board.

IF you have an awesome demo you would like to share please post it over on the programming examples section. I try to routinely grab examples off of there with the authors permission of course and add them to the examples section of the ESP8266 basic site. http://www.esp8266basic.com/examples.html

Any help with getting the docs squared away would be greatly appreciated.

You guys are awesome.

NO, Mike, you are awesome! I wish I had a bit more time to dedicate to your cause and help with your documentation, which if were done right, would make a huge difference in spreading this great project you have developed. What I am doing right now between balancing my job and my hobby, is copying and pasting the best of examples from this forum so that I have a library of simple snippets of code that do very specific things to use for future code development. I have absolutely NO experience with HTML or CSS but am trying to learn. What a great new world YOU created! (at least for me)

You have garnered some very smart followers since you started this AWESOME project. I can see how some that don't have a great understanding or tolerance for BASIC come through with really cool HTML and visa versa. I really applaude you for your effort and hope you realize that even though you may feel like you have bitten off a really big cookie, this has really helped a lot of people that alway wanted to get a grip on IOT and started with the old AT stuff, now can do things that were not available before.

You rock Mike.

I will try to support you as best I can!

Please keep up your effort. I don't think you really understand how cool your port really is!!!!!! Just so you know, my wife really misses me because of your work!
