EDITOR INTERFACE SETTINGS

Following your tutorial, I flashed succesfully ESP8266Basic in a WEMOS D1 Mini board.
The only difference is to short G and D3 on the right side of the board (can we name this a board ? maybe a stamp, no ? ).
Not forgetting to reset after shorting and before flashing, and also after flashing and before connecting.
Now comes the Setting part in the Editor Interface.
I have entered Name and Pass for the station mode, and saved.
Connecting to the Wemos with http://http://192.168.4.1/ resulted in Failed status and Timeout error.
I must miss something here, and confess I am not skilled on this aspect.
I expected to be asked for Name and Pass previously entered.
Is this correct ?
What is the tip ?
