Has anyone tried ESP8266 ESP-07? I'd like to know the built-in ceramic antenna performance. Is it any better than or equals to the very first version, ESP8266 ESP-01?
There's also an option to use an external antenna.

Esp_03 have same ceramic antenna and more powerful than esp01 on board antenna.

That has not been my experience.

The PCB antenna outperforms the ceramic antenna by about 20db.

Access points that are consistently working on the ESP-01 are not visible on the ESP-03 at all.
