Apparently, not if you have some cookies

well, i can connect from an virign VM that never saw internet or cookies with fresh installed Firefox, as long the date/time is ok (maybe you trying from the leaked VM with date set to 2013, do you? that will not work unless you set date to current).

I have made an symbol-annotated disassembly for reference (http://df.lth.se/~kongo/esp8266.bin/iram0.txt), and it looks much more sane.

How did you generate this? For me xt-objdump (ran from the VM) just crashes on binary files (I use xt-objdump -b binary -m xtensa -D code_segment.bin).
