Also - I have looked all over and cannot find binaries for the AT command set using the 0.9.4 SDK... can you help?

You can look here: http://www.esp8266.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=705 it has link to binaries compiled with 0.9.4 with addition of NTP.
