Everytime I send my ESP8266 an AT+CIPSTART command to get it to connect to ThingSpeak the module restarts. I thought it was a power problem as I was powering it from an Arduino Uno before so I connected it up to a proper 5v power supply adapter. But the problem remains. Everytime the AT+CIPSTART command is sent the module restarts.

Any ideas why it's doing this?

- Thu May 19, 2016 3:47 am #47638 I am using a linear 3.3v regulator. Hey I did a bit of testing and I've figured out that it's cause by me being in CWMODE=3 instead of being in CWMODE=1. Don't know why it was restarting though. I feel like an error would suffice haha.
