Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.
Although I am comfortable with arduino and normal microcontrollers, I am extremely new to esp8266, having gotten an esp-12e less than a week ago. I've been through some basic projects and am just about getting my head around it, but only the projects with the arduino ide,(I have no idea how to use lua)
I wanted to make an unread email notifier using ifttt and the esp. However, after searching the web, all i found was projects in which the esp sent emails after something happened. Judging from what I have read, it should be simple enough, but at the moment I have no idea on how to go about it.
If any people who are better versed than me in this stuff could help, maybe give some example code, resources etc. it would be very helpful. Thanks!
