i was looking for some documentation about the built in OS and found this:

I have worked with FreeRTOS and Segger embOS, I really like both of them. But XTOS seem to be a bit more on the low level side...

Yes, I found it too!

Cadence was not able to tell where the public release of XTOS was

Looks like this official Open Source Qualcomm-Atheros (aka "QCA") repository is the only place where this can be found.

- Tue Sep 16, 2014 5:10 am #617 these QCA sources are slightly different (Cottonwood rel.) than these sources in the leaked VM, \usr\Xtensa\XtDevTools\install\tools\RC-2010.1-win32\XtensaTools\xtensa-elf\src\xtos\ (Boreal rel.)
