WPS (Wifi Protected Setup)

Hello,
I would like to make the esp connect to a Wifi network via esp by using C code.
I know that wps is not the "safest" way to connect to a Wifi network but I don't need safety for my project.
Since wps should be possible according to the datasheet I hope that somebody finds a solution and I will post mine here if I find one.

Thanks

hi Busi

Did you ever find out how to do this?

Cheers

Sadly not.
I actually wrote a mail to Espressif about the topic but they didn't reply yet.
But the WiFi alliance certificate for the ESP8266 doesn't say anything about wps support: http://certifications.prod.wi-fi.org/pd ... d=WFA57895
I also spend hours searching for any WPS protocol information document for companies but the only thing I could find is an information sheet on how to present it the customer...

If anybody here ever comes around such a document please post it here and I will see if I can write the code myself.

+1 for me.

The idea of little things that start logging in the cloud with a simple button press is attractive.
