The newer SDKs from Espressif are getting really, really bloated. I want to rip tons of stuff out, things like their mDNS stack doesn't work the way I want and I have my own anyway. The biggest problem is interrupt handlers need to be in IRAM and there's less and less. Projects like ColorChord do not compile in their latest SDKs for this reason.
Has anyone figured out how to remove parts of their SDK? Do they have a strip-down SDK I'm unaware of?
