I have gone ahead and checked the ESP-WROOM-02 certification in FCC. It looks like the module is certified correctly.
My question is would I be able to purchase this module from any supplier? I have found many suppliers in Alibaba that are selling the module. Are these modules certified as well because they are the same model? Is there any way to know the difference?
I don't see this any different than DigiKey selling RF modules.

This Bluetooth module is IC, FCC certified. I have no idea where it came from other than DigiKey supplying them.
Would it make a difference if a purchase the ESP-WROOM-02 from any supplier or do I need to purchase the WROOM-02 directly from espressif?
