#60600 ESP8266-01 all wired up .

Can flash it! ( ExpressIf's Flash tool).

It reports Detected info as:

flash vendor:
E0h : N/A
flash devID:
4014h
QUAD;8Mbit
crystal:
26 Mhz

Which my understanding says this is a 1M version of the ESP8266.

Photo shows my settings... What am I doing wrong.

After it flashes, no new access point appears.

When I connect via putty, I see fatal exceptions from boot loader spewing forth, then a reboot for more of the same....

HELP!!!???

#60615 Not necessary an ESP_LINK flashing adresses problem :
Your adresses seem OK (https://github.com/jeelabs/esp-link/blob/master/FLASHING.md#initial-serial-flashing

/!\ Flashing needs less current than WiFi running. (WiFi transmitting needs some 300mA pulses)
How do you power your ESP01 after flashing it ?
Maybe your ESP resets when trying to set AP 'on' if your power can't deliver current needs by WiFi radio
