Hi!
I'm a programmer with a big interest in networking.
And I have an esp-14 and I'm wondering how to flash & use it.
My only lead so far is this video http://youtu.be/pWo-ErpVZC4 titled "Making your own C programs for the ESP8266"
It's 2 years old, so I'm not sure how useful it is for me.
This would be my first time working with esp8266, so I really need your help on this one!
Do I need to buy a usb to serial adapter in order to flash the chip? Any on this list perhaps? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xusb+serial.TRS0&_nkw=usb+serial&_sacat=0
And what are the up-to-date tools for programming it? The guy in the video linked to this tutorial: http://github.com/esp8266/esp8266-wiki/wiki/Toolchain
