I'm teaching IoT with ESP8266 later in the year.

If I have 100 students, each with an ESP, trying to connect to wifi at the same time
will I hit contention issues?

I've done some workshops with the ESP8266, but only up to ~20 devices connected to the same wifi hotspot. This worked just fine.

Where I hit problems was when everyone needed to download large software packages (e.g. the SDK) on laptops over the wifi!
