Hello ! I just started with the Sparkfun WiFi shield on Arduino. All the examples run very well and so I started to read temperature with DHT Sensors. When ever I connected a cable to the shield the blue led starts blinking or turns off. When I remove the shield and connect it to the arduino with cables ( 5V, grand, TX and RX to Pin 8, 9 ) and the DHT to pin 7 it works fine.
The hotline ( of the company of the seller of the shield ) explains that there is a known design error in the shield because it is not designed for arduino but Sparkfun boards. Does anyone know something about this problem and operates the shield AND sensors on Arduino ? Thanks from Germany.
