I'm using the ESP-07S module, and programming it through through the Arduino IDE. The device connects to a WIFI network and relays sensor info to my server. After only being installed for a month or so, several modules stopped connecting to the network. I plugged a cable into it and found that the MCU is working fine, but the WIFI doesn't connect to the network. I uploaded the WIFIScan sketch to scan for networks and nothing was returned. I then uploaded the WIFIAccessPoint sketch which did work. I was able to connect to the module's AP, get and IP address, and view the default web page. I also tried erasing the flash with the esptool.py and re-uploading the sketch WIFIScan to the module, but I'm still not getting anything back. I check the antenna connectors, and they are all working.
Any ideas? I have a lot of these, and the majority have failed.
