Just an idea I had when I first saw this little device ... I know the dhcp/dns issue has to be delt with ... and a small proxy dns server created ... and a rebuild of the liblwip with forwarding enabled ... but it is doable!

Yeah, it's probably doable, but if you just need a tiny router, you could get an actual wifi router for less than 10$:

These routers even run openwrt (hardware is pretty much identical to http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/hame/mpr-a1, except they don't have a battery).
