I had a quick look at it, and it seems to be based upon FreeRtos, with some added ease of use and driver integrations.

- Wed May 08, 2019 9:48 am #82197 It must be based on RTOS because Espressif does not publish the low level details of the platform, so RTOS (or NONOS-SDK) is the lowest level the devices can be addressed.

And what is the actual advantage? I'd rather have no "operating system" at all.
