I have 6x NodeMCU v1.0 ... and using windows 10
download the json for it for Arduino IDE ...
and the driver for CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP for win 8.1

When I insert the usb to the NodeMCU
the Com Port it does appear for a second
then dissappears

I have changes the NodeMCU and the USB cables 3 times

Stil the same problem

I also put it on the different pc's
same problem

uninstalled drivers and reinstalled too

Arduino is detected on com port 3 and stable

The com port for NodeMcu does appear in Show Hidden in Device Manager

Any answers please ...

It was the usb calbes

the micro usb needs to supply power

all my micro cables did not

and the cable that did was faulty
lol
