What do you mean by that? Their reliability? Physical resilience? Resistence to hacking?
Regarding the last one, I'm actually curious about that as well. I was planning to move abroad and buy a flat in Berlin there, and I'd like my WiFi network to be secure, so that nobody apart from me and my wife can use it, be it to steal data, or just to enjoy a free Internet access.

Have the ESPs on their own network. Self contained without an internet connection. You connect to that network when you want to have access. That is the easiest and most secure solution.
